- Hanane Hafraoui leads work on building sector decarbonisation and resilience within the Buildings and Cooling Unit of UNEP’s Climate Change Division. As an international development and climate economist, she has extensive experience across government, international policy and development practice, with a focus on decarbonisation, resilience, climate finance, and implementation. She works with governments, donors and partners to advance practical solutions for sustainable, low-emission and climate-resilient economic development.
